Nearly 30 years ago, the Morse Institute Library received a gift of approximately 1,370 original documents/pages dating between 1866 and 1941 pertaining to the Grant Army Republic Post No. 63. While these documents are in remarkable condition and stored in archival-quality sleeves and boxes. As part of the Library’s commitment to preserving the stories of Service in our community, along with a grant we were able to digitize the content for all to view. As one of the few integrated G.A.R. Posts these documents are a wonderful resources for community members researching genealogy, ancestry, and history.
