U.S. Army 1943–1945

Milton Cohen was drafted at 18 in 1943 while at Boston University. After radio school in Liverpool, he rejoined the 30th Division, 119th Infantry Regiment, which followed in the footsteps of the D-Day invasion. As replacement troops, they moved to the front and pushed on towards Paris. He tells a remarkable story of being shot twice and of how he survived. That he survived and the after-effects from those wounds show the strength and courage of a man whose life changed dramatically before he reached the age of 20.
